Introducing, TSL: The Sherry Lexicon

Originally published as a note on Facebook, I would like to share with our Redneck Objectivist audience (of 1 haha.)

Due to my great understanding of all things that can possibly be understood, I have determined that new words/terms are needed to further classify subsets of groups, based on how these subsets have reacted to things going on in the world the past decade. Feel free to utilize these new words in your everyday vernacular, so we may more accurately root out the wheat from the chaff, etc.

This is the first installment of many (or few, or the one an only - depending on my attention span) entries.

(Note: if you are not fluent in sarcasm, you may have trouble understanding this lexicon.  If that is the case, please consult someone with a sense of humor for translation.)

Christurd: A Christian that likes to use all the really hateful parts in the bible, or just plain make crap up and try to twist the bible to support it,  to spread hate and fear.  Yes, Westboro Baptist Church, you are the best example of this, but unfortunately not the only ones that belong in this group.

ObjectAhole: Someone that claims they are an Objectivist (closed system or open system, big O or little o) that takes a very good philosophy and twists it into dogma. Oh savor the irony of this one. And the sadness. The sad ironicalness of it all.  If Ellsworth Toohey was real, he would be rubbing his hands together saying "oooo I got them right where I want them!" Howard Roark would not think of you. Sometimes an ObjectAhole fantasizes about having a good and moral reason to blow up a building. Usually claims that art/music/literature that does not fall under the category of “romantic realism” must always be very bad and immoral, and anyone that likes any of that, is culturally inferior. (Take note Objectivist Rush Fans: if you like albums outside of 2112, it doesn’t make you immoral. No, it just means Neil, Alex and Geddy are kick ass musicians. Deal with it.)

AtheiAss: Atheist that just cannot let go of their bad religious experience and so claims every religious person must be evil and cannot be trusted. (Yes, Mother Teresa was twisted, but that doesn’t mean every nun is or that every Catholic charity doesn’t have its merits. And not every priest is licking his lips while looking at your son, and just because your daughter's science teacher was seen saying a prayer before he eats his lunch does not mean he will try to push creationism down her throat.) Or claims that NO GOOD ever can even INDIRECTLY come out of a religious organization. (Because clearly the only motive 100% of the time when a religious organization goes to a disaster area to help or gather food clothes for the needy, etc., is NEVER out of their goodwill towards humanity in general, but MUST be a plot every single time to get to heaven or prove themselves better than others.  Or to cajole and trick people into their faith.) Or an AtheiAss may claim that only a dishonest person says he or she is an agnostic.

Feminitch: Those that think any woman or girl that has failed at anything (school, business, relationship etc.) MUST be the victim of some male, or society that is dominated by males. Feminitches have absolutely no respect for women, and think unless the scales are always tipped in their favor to undue something that happened to other women that lived generations ago, or in another state, or country, or to a woman they saw it in a Lifetime movie, that females just won’t have a chance.  The utter lack of understanding that YES most women in the US do have the ability to control their own destinies to fail or succeed on their own merits is the underlying issue here.  (Out of all the subsets listed here, thank the FSM this group seems to be a very small number.)

Further Subsets: Sometimes we have an interesting combination where the ObjectAhole and AtheiAss overlap, or the Feminitch and AtheiAss overlap.  In those instances of cross-moronization they can be referred to as ObjectiAss, or FeminAss.  Or even AtheiHole or Atheitch. I predict various regions of the country may prefer one or the other variation, and as long as a proper regional accent is utilized, that is acceptable.  There have been rare cases of Christurds thinking they have cross-moronizated with ObectAholes, but that is not true. Those are just the Christurds that really like Atlas Shrugged but totally didn’t get it or even understand Ayn Rand at all. Those special fools, can be referred to as Becktards.

Final notes:
Regarding the folks that ruined the Tea Party, I have no new word to add, because Tea Baggers just says it so well already. Reinvent the wheel? Why bother? I also do not think anything needs to be added to discuss fanatical Muslims, because I think Islamofascist is appropriate for them. Plus, since the ObjectAholes, Christurds and even the AtheiAsses have used much of their energy to make sweeping generalizations to marginalize millions of innocent people around the world by claiming they all Muslims are the same, I don't think that is necessary. So thanks, haters, you saved me about 10 minutes of work tonight, which I can spend playing Spider Solitaire, watching portions of The Daily Show, or clipping my toe nails. Any of these activities are probably a lot more useful than how you spend your free time.

Now go about your business arguing on the interwebs (because of course nothing is more important than being right on chat rooms, message boards, email lists, FaceBook or other social networking sites), and feel free to use these new words you have learned.
